The Visitor: Massacre at Camp Happy

Use arrow keys or WASD to move, Spacebar or CTRL to eat and ESC to RESTART. Eat animals to gain their ability so you can traverse different environments. Some animals are evasive and you must sneak up on them from behind, while others are too large to eat until you eat a pig or two. Find and eat all the campers to advance to the next level. Earn extra points for destruction by breaking picnic tables, knocking over tents, snapping trees, destroying signs and more.

Control an alien slug as it rains death and destruction onto a sleepy campground. Devour creatures to gain their abilities of flight, swimming, climbing and size as you make your way to your next human meal.

Based on Zeebarf's hit game The Visitor, the insatiable death slug is back in an all new action-adventure horror game. Guide him through the mountainous forest grounds of Camp Happy, as he destroys everything in his path in search of victims.

Featuring original horror music by Sergiu Muresan, game stat tracking and automatic game saving. Sponsored by ArcadeBomb. Developed by ClickShake Games.

I have some major issues with this game, mainly being that the 1st game was fresh and interesting while this is tired and boring. The Visitor was fun and suspenseful as well as challenging whereas this after the first two levels becomes redundant and easy to figure out. The graphics are very cookie cutter, leaving it to seem that not a lot of effort was put into the entire game but rather just the first few levels before laziness set it. I think this was a mistake and The Visitor should've stayed as one point-and-click game.

A most mishandled use of intellectual material

As a game this is a mediocre action side scrollerish thing that could practically have been made in Gamemaker. Bland and carbon copied but with The Visitor, the only thing keeping this game in it's praises.

The original game was very original, a unique take on the survival horror genre, a point and click with timed sequences and puzzles and fantastic artwork and well...Originality.With a proper script and a fully formed idea behind it. Now how much of ANY of these has been followed through. This is less a sequel and more a fanfic.

The idea that a new visitor appears on each level is moronic: We'd all be dead after 5 of these bloody deathslugs. Or is it the same one coming in each meteorite?

Anyway, besides the mediocre gameplay there's good ol' giant plot holes and thoughtless scripting: ESPECIALLY for the characters. Oh I'm just gonna stand over here in the middle of a cliff by a campfire and wait to be eaten by Alien Worm there.

I miss the suspense of the original. The scripting. The ZOMG WHAT THE HELL moments. Must be over 16? I've seen more hardcore stuff on CBeebies.

All in all I think the title really sums the game up. The Visitor: Massacre...Just take out that little punctuation point: The Visitor Massacre and voile, instant review. You massacred the potential franchise. Way to go.

Not bad

It was okay but some levels had puzzles that were a little to finicky

Main problem is that some animals come back after you've eaten them.

Sorry but...

I came to play this game because I saw the words 'Zeebarf' and 'Visitor'. Truth be told, this is nothing like Zeebarf's The Visitor at all. It feels like all you've done is tacked Zeebarf's character onto a crappy game. This isn't what I expected at all and I didn't enjoy it one bit.
