A sort of spiritiual sequel to The String, which can be viewed here.
It's an allegory of sorts, but I've decided to leave it's interpretation more up to the viewers this time around instead of imposing my own explanation onto it. I hope you enjoy.
Feel free to check out my other art as well.
I didn't even realize this made the front page. I was wondering why this was getting so much attention all of the sudden. Thanks a lot guys.
I didn't get it at all but that would be just me :P
I like the style of the way you animate.
love to see bigger and more things... (and i hope that i understand those things more than his one... :P)
As soon as i saw your art on your art page i knew your style would work well in an animation and i was right! Really cool looking! This deserves a way higher score dont pay attension to the currentscore- just know you're very talented!
Thanks. I honestly thought this would do a bit better than it did too, but I'm still happy with the front page my last one received, so I don't mind so much. Plus, there's always next time.
Such a stunning and subtle tale of the emptiness we all face. Moving around in our lives we merely focus on what we are doing in the now. We let ourselves become bogged down in circles of sleep work sleep work sleep until one day we realize our lives have slipped from us and in the end we are left a simple shell. Sitting quietly in the little boxes we deem our homes with nothing to show for all our work while waiting for death to sweep us away. Though our spirit had gone long ago...
Wonderful job, I love it.
Thanks. You really hit what I was shooting for, I'm glad to see a few people were able to take something from it.
Me gusto el tipo de arte que usaste para la animacion es buena y nada común y la historia estuvo intrigante
I had to use some Google translation for that, but thanks. I try to make my cartoons unique.
everything was neat, both animation and storytelling, nice composition too
BTW was that an animated texture over the whole thing?
question: i kinda get the message but over the end theres a picture of his family, meaning he got a wife and kids, doesnt seem like such a bad life then :o
in ay case maik moar
Yeah for the texture all I did was have a large paper texture and crop it 4 different ways and had that loop over top everything.
