In this game you need to protect helpless Earth from giant asteroids and devastating comets using automatic turrets. The gameplay of this game is simple. You've got to purchase turrets and drop them on the orbit, aiming at the advancing space bodies. If you destroy an asteroid or comet then you earn some money to buy more powerful defensive weapons. If Earth is destroyed then your game is over.
Controls: Mouse Use cursor keys for moving on map. 1-5 keys to quick place defence ships (don't work in fullscreen mode)

Needs work
definitely should make the turrets static not make them so your entire defense gets blown across the galaxy when an asteroid explodes. definitely need more turrets. and you should really take the friendly fire off of the rocket turret, it does lots of damage but I never used it because as soon as it blew up an asteroid it flew out of formation and started blowing up my own stuff. if I were you I would take notes on the flash game, "The Space Game". I loved the idea and it reminded me of the space game, this could be a really fun game.

Pretty simplistic
Defend a circular object from multiple moving objects with varyingly strong turrets. Essentially requires no strategy, just buy a bunch of turrets until your out of money and place them evenly until the game gets overwhelmingly hard

Fun
The physics are a little frustrating when you start using the rocket launcher ship, but otherwise its pretty fun.
