This is my first experiment, I tried to simplify the Green Hill Zone boss battle the most I could, and the Game & Watch style helped a lot on this, inspired by Greek & Wicked, this is a recreation and simplification of Sonic's first battle.
Simple Controls, Simple Graphics, and that lovely LCD screen style applied to Sonic the Hedgehog.
This was made in about...3 hours total, from concept to finish, using only Actionscript 2.0. It started as a Photoshop concept/mockup, and later it was vectorized in flash for the coding.
Not the best thing ever, but as an old Sonic fan, its kinda nostalgic to me :)

New Update!
As people requested! New Level! This time, you guys will be doing the Marble Zone Boss!
Its a reward of passing the first battle for now ;)
Also, I'm getting used to the whole coding of the game, so I fixed some details I felt. I saw that some people were looking for some sound, but I must say that I suck at adding sounds to stuff, and I need to get some G&W sounds first... But I'll add these in in next versions. So don't be disappointed :)

Can't move Sonic?
I'd really love to play this but for some reason I can't move Sonic. Is there like a specific time you have to move him or what?

I found this hard.
Really nice game indeed. But a strange glitch happened in wish Sonic cloned himself in his Spindash form. It was pretty difficult for me.

Funny idea...
Indeed it is a funny idea. Well not really a long lasting game or something u could play over and over, but i like the idea, but what i am missing is at least some soundeffects. No, i am not asking for music, just simple plain sound effects would make it perfect ; )

Well, it has a new level now! Just defeat the first boss to play the second one :)
About the sound...I need to get some G&W sounds, but I'll add some sound effects in later versions :)
