Edit: Audio bug fixed.

One final edit: It took a while, but I finally re-beat the entire game.
It's definitely possible to get ALL the medals now.

EDIT: Medals properly implemented, waiting approval.

EDIT: Newgrounds Ads, don't fail us now.
(Koizumi set to 0% so when/if the game earns enough to get a payment, we can get it straight away and split it between us, rather than have to wait twice as long)

Upload limit lifted! Thanks Tom

DJManiax is totally unique to the flash platform. It is a rhythm game in which you must click on notes (or hit the correct keyboard keys, depending on your CHOSEN PLAY MODE) when the timeline is aligned with their centre.

-Pass songs to unlock more songs, and ultimately beat the 3 boss stages!

-Instructions are in the game.

-All songs and images featured with in the game are used with permission.

-WorldWide HighScore tables are live.

-20 songs with 3 difficulties each! Something for players of all skill levels.

-2 ways to play! Keyboard style or Mouse/Tablet style. This game is fun with a wacom tablet!

-Well thought out and well put together note charts match the songs perfectly!

The gameplay style is based on the Korean arcade game DJ Max Technika.

We spent a lot of time working on this game, please enjoy it!

Simply put,
would like Anticipate to not lag, aside from that, it's great.

Let's see...

It's simply win.

The fact that you were able to create two styles of gameplay that work on a computer platform is brilliant and the song choice fits perfectly for a rhythm game.

You were working with a program and a file type that is bound to give you endless problems but in the end you overcame them to create something that I hope will become a gem on this site.

I highly doubt you'll find a better rhythm game on the site better than this.

Kudos to you.

Unique, fun, but laggy

This is probably the most unique rhythm game I've played in a while (I've never played DJ Max Technika, though). And the fact that it's on flash brings up a few differing pros and cons.

For one, some of the charts with movies in the background (Cirno's Perfect Math Class, Isabel) lag up Flash a bit. And I couldn't help but notice that some of the notes are slightly off-timing. But then again, all of this is to be expected in a Flash game. You could avoid it by crippling the game in some ways, but I can live with it (as can others, I guess).

I've been playing various rhythm games ranging from Guitar Hero and Rock Band through to ITG and StepMania (pad and no pad). This one uses a mouse. Simple and effective. Imagine it ported to iPad or played through the browser of an Android tablet... *flatten*

Song choice is pretty awesome too. I HAD NO CLUE YOU'D PUT IN YOUR OWN SONGS KOIZUMI =w=
And it's damn fun to play! I've got my hand in a totally alien position hitting notes, but you've chosen the right keys to use (space bar seems a bit iffy, maybe replace with Alt key?)

9/10. The only problems are the unavoidable lag and looks. They seem kinda Windows XP-ish and jittery. But then again, flash. :\

I'm playing rhythm games for 8 last years of my life and I'm really under impression because this work is really solid. Great notecharts, great syncing, neat noteskins (with rhythm feature!), very nice songs selection, mouse/kb styles (YAY FOR KB!!), sick unlock system - the overall is WOW, I want to play this more!
I'm happy to have my track in the game, thanks to Alan for proposal. It could be a pity to miss such a nice party.

One of the best music flash games at the moment. Make no mistake.

I can imagine this on a handheld device or game console! Good fun!
