Edit: Audio bug fixed.

SOUND EFFECTS AND DESIGN BY FIERRA (ALSO FOR COMING UP WITH KEYBOARDSTYLE)
VOICE ACTING BY LADY ARSENIC

One final edit: It took a while, but I finally re-beat the entire game.
It's definitely possible to get ALL the medals now.

EDIT: Medals properly implemented, waiting approval.
EDIT: OMG TOM FRONTPAGE <3

EDIT: Newgrounds Ads, don't fail us now.
(Koizumi set to 0% so when/if the game earns enough to get a payment, we can get it straight away and split it between us, rather than have to wait twice as long)

Upload limit lifted! Thanks Tom <3

DJManiax is totally unique to the flash platform. It is a rhythm game in which you must click on notes (or hit the correct keyboard keys, depending on your CHOSEN PLAY MODE) when the timeline is aligned with their centre.

-Pass songs to unlock more songs, and ultimately beat the 3 boss stages!

-Instructions are in the game.

-All songs and images featured with in the game are used with permission.

-WorldWide HighScore tables are live.

-20 songs with 3 difficulties each! Something for players of all skill levels.

-2 ways to play! Keyboard style or Mouse/Tablet style. This game is fun with a wacom tablet!

-Well thought out and well put together note charts match the songs perfectly!

The gameplay style is based on the Korean arcade game DJ Max Technika.

We spent a lot of time working on this game, please enjoy it!

Average

I think it could of had better songs. My main complaint is whenever id click to go to the next song it would just start scrolling through all of them then id have to go back and click again....... which would scroll them all again.

TaroNuke responds:

Try using the mouse to select songs (click left and right)
We're changing the songwheel for something that lags less next time.

And having more different music.

Good game but... OH GOD!!

I really like this game. Nice selection of songs too. I'm a type of person who listens to a large variety of music. The one thing that I didn't like is the final boss song. It is so hard that I just want to give up. I noticed the medals for failing song. I laughed my head off. Imma so this to my friends. Once they get to the boss songs, they gonna freak out. Nice job and keep it up. Have you tried getting someone on newgrounds to actually make a song for your game?

TaroNuke responds:

Casualty's song, "You are a Joke" is from the audio portal

decent

the only good song was cirno math class. and the game was fun initially but later on when u realize that you need to ace this or that song or this whole batch of songs before u can unlock one other song just sucks the fun out of the game.

who wants a game where u cant play the songs u want or even KNOW what songs you will be unlocking.

it was also very easy for a pianist except at times the colours were confusing

its a good game. tehre are other games out there tho.

something with a different style is osu. look it up if ur interested

TaroNuke responds:

It's absolutely nothing like being a pianist.
Unlocking things keeps games interesting sometimes.
You can turn colors off if you like.

I would like to play a game where I don't know all the songs, that's just more interesting to me.
