UPDATEv1.1: Boosted the water gun stats

Hey guys! SickDeathFiend and I decided to make a christmas game, I think it turned out pretty cool! Some kind of halloween-christmas crossover...haha but you'll be the judge of that won't you? We hope you like it! It's got great music by Josh Hunsaker and Antfish landed us his voice! So unwrap your christmas gifts but beware, you may not find what you're looking for...you may find...evilll.....mouahah ...MOUAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA! :D

Controls are with the mouse, shift to grab stuff through enemies and space to discard the current weapon or trap.

As usual, toggle quality (Q) or use the Dim Light option to play with better performance.

an "A" for effort

the enemies all walk directly towards you, only leaving room for differences in size, speed, how much money they drop, and endurance(health bar).
the weapons were all the same. you click on a enemy and they take damage. the only real difference was that if i leveled up one weapon, all the others were weaker(and even then, not by much).
i didn't notice any increase of money as i got further into the game. maybe it's just me but i believe that the further you go into a game the more money you deserve per level.
I also felt that as bought weapons they seemed to show up less. maybe it's a coincidence, but in that case, why do the weapon drops chance randomly and unpredictably change in each level.
if any of this is wrong, it's because i couldn't focus on the game for long enough to get far enough in to find anything interesting. at first i thought it was just taking a while to get to the good stuff, but it was taking to long, so i gave up.
on the other hand you seem to have put a lot of effort into this. i hate to slag other peoples work when you put so much into it, but this is what the reviews are for.

Fair enough, but the enemies and weapons are all different with their niche, speed, damage, knockback, ammo.

o_e ow....

I like how theres an ending for every monster, but there should be a way to identify monster gifts from weapons :o cause it sucks getting over run by robots and bears and heli's and not haveing a weapon and opening gifts just shoots out more heli's then you get face raped by a robot drill....

Very well balanced and executed gameplay. Different play modes added replay factor.

Alot of creepy fun

Ooo! A present!... Awwww, it's a monster... Ooo! A present!... Awwww, it's a monster... Ooo! A present!... Awwww, it's a.... SHOTGUN!!!
I love the art, but I wish that the losing scenes were more gruesome. The gameplay was a ton of fun, and I love the pace of the game, it doesn't change difficulties too quickly, it has a constant steady increase. Which adds, especially when laying down barricades, which makes it seem more like your in the situation, just throwing them by the Christmas tree as you attempt to keep fighting.
My only problem was, I ran into a "glitch" plenty of times, in which you pick up a weapon, and quickly click to immediately start using it (which is what you need to do when you trying keep up with the pace), and instead the weapon would just sit there, and I'd have to click again, wait for a delay, and then it would start it's attacking routine. While the entire process takes just slightly over a second, in this game, every second counts. As well, while there is a button to grab weapons under monsters, I wish there was a button to prevent me from picking up weapons under monsters, as I release my mouse button, change my shotguns aim to the ferocious teddy bear on the other end of the screen, and click, only to now have a squirt gun.

Even, taking these minor problems into account, I had alot of fun with it, and especially with the neat Bowling Ball mode, which was a whole different game, and very fun as well.

Yeah grabbign other weapons by mistake is annoying, but no control scheme to fix that seemed intuitive enough so we kept it like that
you can also click and hold to attack, dunno if that's what you're refering to

oh and we kept it family friendly so not too much gruesomeness haha
