YFYIAR is the drunken uncle of text-based adventures: Abusive, abrasive, and maybe a little funny.
I... am in LOVE with this game.
IN LOVE WITH IT, I TELL YOU.
This game is most certainly intelligent, and its coding is ingenious. REPLAY VALUE THROUGH THE ROOF. I find no flaw in this game. The character of the game is very well-rounded, especially in the latter parts.
Tell me, was it supposed to fade out BEFORE, or AFTER I typed "LOOK AT SUN"? After that, the game replied no more, and faded out so wonderfully.
It's like an interactive ebook.
KUDOS TO YOU FOR MAKING SUCH SMART GAMES. I applaud you, good sir.
I had a sickening feeling in my gut when the second keypad accepted "8008135"...
The only text based adventures I've ever played were all fantasy (with the exception of "Score!"), and I was starting to get bored of the genre. Thanks for spicing it up!
Looks like GLaDOS and AM had a baby.
Very intuitive but I feel like it could have gone much deeper, it was way too short.
my last command was walk back into the room which made me think thats why it went back to the start.... bit dull really you could of made it all bright and say nice things. the games a bit of a moody bum really, it got what it deserved
the thing that broke me laughing was at the second keypad "You enter 9 into the keypad, feeling hopeless and - WAIT A MINUTE. 9? How did you know that 9 was the code?"
i just guessed the number of computer parts (i think it was 9)...
