It's a shame that Tom posted a list of Metroid like games so recently, as it seems I just about missed the boat with my mini attempt at that kind of genre, oh well...

Fascinating
I rarely log in to leave reviews anymore, but this game took a good concept and gave it a new twist.
The atmosphere, the music, the wording, the way the camera moves - you've added innovation to what could have been a very generic game.
10/10, easily.

amazing
This is brobably one of the best games on ng. It was sad at the end, but what did the secret message say? I was too busy getting my butt out of that demon chick's house.

Compelling, what all games should have !
No matter how fancy or pretty you can make a game, without a that 'something' to keep interest and just the right amount of challenge, the game just won't make the grade. Well, this game makes all the grades. Excellent style, the mood portrayed perfectly yet still subtle keeping you guessing, excellent game play style, not too fustrating, just right amount of challenge. Top NOTCH ! 5 and 10 !

Amazing
The game play was very fun. Challenging without being too frustrating.
The effects were pretty cool too, such as the 2d perspective changing the angle of the playing field depending where you are in it. I didn't notice it until I died in a large room and the room shifted noticeably.
The music was also fantastic. This is a very polished game. If it were longer it would easily belong on some portable gaming system.
One gripe though... due to my many deaths I ended up with a score of -400! T.T
