Oh no! BP has set up shop in Mario Land, and now another oil leak has started to kill all the fish in the sea! It's a good thing Mario is a plumber, because if there's one thing he knows how to do, it's fix leaky pipes!

Grab the fish as they die upon contacting the oil and use their bloated fishy corpses to plug the leaks in the pipe before the oil overcomes you. But watch out! BP really doesn't like outsiders interfering with their ecological disasters, so they'll be dropping mines and scuba jerks into the water to make your life more difficult. Fortunately, you can use the dead fish as a weapon against them too.

It's high time somebody puts an end to BP and their reckless actions... go get 'em, Mario! See if you can last long enough to witness the glorious destruction of BP!

sticky button

The game was fun, however, Mario kept moving in one direction, as if one of my keyboard buttons had gotten stuck. I had to mash every direction in order for flash to update the input.

You may want to take a look at the code for movement and see if anything may be causing it to lock up is pressed to rapidly.

Nice parody

This was a fun game. I liked the NES style graphics combined with modern situations. Truly, an excellent idea. No bugs at all, the difficulty is there (where's my 1ups man), and the controls fit perfectly. I enjoyed the little scene after 3-4 as well. Great work. Bravo!

This was alot of fun.

I'll try to do better next time.

Not only was it a fun and challenging game with a worthwhile mechanic, but it seemed to be combining gameplay elements from different games. For instance, wasn't that the diver from the Jaws NES game? And where DID those subs come from? Also, loved seeing the mines blow away divers. Hah hah hah! Sucker!

Aside from that, great parody work. Funny as hell.

Basic but fun...

I really liked the whole satirical aspect to your game, it's quite funny, and poignant.
There isn't anything wrong with the game, it's very true to the "mario bros" gameplay, and aesthetic.

The game is simple enough to pick up and play, yet is versatile enough to become challenging at the later potions.

I wish you guys would have made your own sprites like you did for your christmas kung fu game, and added a few extras too. Those are my only critiques to be honest.

I digress well done.
