Take control of Josephine the Nun, as she explores a church in discovery of the source of a zombie invasion. Battle through arenas, defeat bosses, evade traps and unlock new weapons as you venture in this epic quest to save the world.

Mouse - Aim and Shoot
WASD/Arrows - Move/Jump

Space - Bullet time (if unlocked)
Collect zombie brains to fill bullet time meter

Esc/p - Pause

Around the time that I finished Jeremy Bongstarr, Xeptic contacted me with this idea about a Nun who shoots up a church full of zombies. It was a really awesome learning experience for both of us, as I had never done a real platform game before, and Xeptic had never coded one. Thanks for taking the time to try it out, and we hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor. I also want to say special thanks to Evil-Dog, who really saved our asses with some last minute glitch-fixing when Xeptic went away to South America for 3 months, just as we finished.

Seen better

Aside from the glitches, I can see how this game would be appealing to people. I personally don't care for it, largely because I find killing hordes of zombies with a mere pistol frustratingly difficult, but apparently other people can get past the first two levels, so I guess that's just my own ineptitude speaking. I would recomend some sort of weapon drop system, or at least make the pistol more powerful (having to plug about 5 shots into each zombies head, when there's a 15 zombies at once, to me is monotonous and frustrating).

But again, I can concede that there are those who could appreciate the difficulty, and I may just not be the demographic you were going for. Anyway, I hope you can refine your games in the future and have them become more appreciated, since you certainly have interesting ideas.

not bad, but not great

on the positive side: fun concept, good voicing and funny dialogue are the key things in this game. the enemy hit time is nothing short of generous, but that does make the game playable. it's frantic and fast-paced in a very good way. not to mention that if you do get hit and suffer knockback, you can still shoot.

the negative: this game is still pretty glitchy and could use an update. it seemed nearly impossible to avoid getting hit by the circular saws at the ends of ledges.

in short: this game has A LOT of potential to be great. the foundation is already there and it is strong a strong one. if it's properly updated and tweaked, I have no doubt that it can meet that potential. the humor is stellar and the gameplay is only short of solid because of the glitches. you guys have the skills, just keep working at them.

You didn't have to make it about a nun...

Unlike most people, I didn't rate this down for glitches and bugs, just that it's too damn boring before i even got to the glitches. The buzz saw and moving spike part was enough to tell the poor programming...etc. If higher jumps, it would make a fun game mimicking thing thing. Also, longer/bigger levels.
