One Chance is a game about choices and dealing with them.

Scientist John Pilgrim and his team have accidently created a pathogen that is killing all living cells on Earth.

In the last 6 remaining in-game days on Earth, the player must make choices about how to spend his last moments. Will he spend time with his family, work on a cure or go nuts?

When do we quit?

That was tough, there were a lot of things that made this game stand out to me. The fact that *SPOILER* if you have him work everyday and put everything else aside means that he can find a cure at the cost of everything else is a big weight to carry.

No one he loves will be able to enjoy life with him, most of the world is gone, so what, he has this cure... but everything is in ruin. In a way, I'm not happy with the choices I've made and wonder what would have been different if I just stayed with my family.

The choices I've made have shown me that THIS is no kind of life.

Thank you for making this game.

A True Masterpiece

I never would have thought of a flash game as a medium to affect me emotionally, but this game definitely proved that wrong. I played this when it first arrived at the Portal, and it stunned me. Your choices affected what happened. Period. No undo button, no replay; just your choices, and the consequences that go with it. I originally got the ending where the daughter and father die together on the park bench. Every so often, I would check back, re-play the game just to see if something had changed, something was different. Nothing. I recently wiped my hard-drive, and so decided to try the game again. I managed to create the cure. I managed to save myself, and possibly my daughter. However, now when I check back, the park bench is empty. This game has literally kept me up at night. I only have one question...did the daughter survive?
