One Chance is a game about choices and dealing with them.

Scientist John Pilgrim and his team have accidently created a pathogen that is killing all living cells on Earth.

In the last 6 remaining in-game days on Earth, the player must make choices about how to spend his last moments. Will he spend time with his family, work on a cure or go nuts?

Very touching....

This game has to be by far the best I have played on Newgrounds. I followed someones review of just work all day. I did that. I kept on working. When i got up to the part where the wife died, I felt completely bad for John. All he has that enables him to continue on and not give up is his daughter. If I were in his position, I wouldn't be able to decide with work for a cure or spend time with your family. Seeing how John was the only one alive in the lab was sad. This game has moved me. I understand why you put no replay button in your game. We HAD one chance and we had to spend that chance anyway we could. Ignore everyone else who said bad reviews. I noticed signs of the wife dieing. She stayed in bed for 2 days. Which was abnormal. At times with the daughter, I just wanted to take her to the park. I almost thought that the daughter was going to die when I made the cure. Thank you for making this game.

very intemidating

i must say: this is simple, but brilliant.
also the simplty here actually increases its brilliance, instead of decreasing it like it normally would.

and not to mention, there is a true seed to the whole thing: humanity will probably shovel its own grave by trying to make something better but it only changes to the worse.

flashes like these are end- & timeless which make newgrounds worthwhile.
but it also makes you think about how you can make your own life worthwhile:
and that's the whole message here. nothing left to say.
