One Chance is a game about choices and dealing with them.

Scientist John Pilgrim and his team have accidently created a pathogen that is killing all living cells on Earth.

In the last 6 remaining in-game days on Earth, the player must make choices about how to spend his last moments. Will he spend time with his family, work on a cure or go nuts?

Superb idea with great realization

Okay, this game hasn't got the graphics as shiny and nice as other ones here have, but damn it, I don't know many other games which show such an incredible conception and which excite you even when the game has been finished.

Although it is a very intriguing notion to only have one chance to make count the choices you make and to reinforce such an idea by making it so that the player cannot try and play again, I do very much like the part in games where you DO get to try again if only to see the outcome. The one-shot-chance ending can be bypassed by right clicking on the game and going to settings, go to local storage which looks like a file folder and reducing the bar to none and it will not save the ending so that the next time you come to the page or reload the page you can try again.
