I prefer not to say too much about the game, as discovering the details for yourself is part of the experience. My personal thoughts about the game and its history are in the afterword, but interpreting its meaning is up to you. Everything in the game is there for a reason.

Description:
The Infinite Ocean is a Myst-style point & click adventure game. It's fairly big for a flash game, and has a lot of story, so to enjoy it you need to take your time.

Instructions:
You interact with the environment by left-clicking.
To turn left or right, move your mouse to the edge of the room and click on the arrow that appears.
The main menu appears at the top of the screen when you move your mouse there.
For more detailed information, read the Instructions/Help screen in the game. (Highly recommended!)

i kept losing all the items in my inventory. I dont know if this is a bug or part of the game, but it is extremly annoying. I didn't get beyond the second room with the screwdriver.

Very fun game. I enjoyed the computer notes very much, they weaved a good tale which impacted me nicely. My only complaint was the music. It was appropriate, but a little variety between areas would have been good, being focused on the same "style" as the choice here, but from different sources. Treating the change of music as a three act style could work well, switching through a soft fade once a certain code is entered, continuing onto the last one when a code is entered that leaves the player close to the end. Just a few cents of thought ^^.

Great graphics, interactivity, and atmosphere.
It's eerie, but also wise. Does that make any sense?

My favourite part is the insight into humanity by this AI we read about.

Only complaint: I think it could have used...one more song. It got very aggravating to listen to that song after mere minutes, so I muted the music (but then it felt kinda too silent).
