I prefer not to say too much about the game, as discovering the details for yourself is part of the experience. My personal thoughts about the game and its history are in the afterword, but interpreting its meaning is up to you. Everything in the game is there for a reason.

Description:
The Infinite Ocean is a Myst-style point & click adventure game. It's fairly big for a flash game, and has a lot of story, so to enjoy it you need to take your time.

Instructions:
You interact with the environment by left-clicking.
To turn left or right, move your mouse to the edge of the room and click on the arrow that appears.
The main menu appears at the top of the screen when you move your mouse there.
For more detailed information, read the Instructions/Help screen in the game. (Highly recommended!)

wow

If you could find a way to make this into a novel that kept the spirit going... i'd read it. I came expecting a simple point and click game... i left feeling ever so slightly changed... THAT is a level of genius i've rarely seen in any medium... and to find it in a flash game i staggering.

Thank you for this "game", it was an interesting experience, to say the least.

i just don't know..

i thought i was playing a normal escape game at first with senseless babble put into it to make u take longer to finish
that was a clear misconception.
i read every thing in the game and it really has meaning, in most places
although the idea that the game might just be another senseless "artificial inteligence leads to the end of the world" kind of idea, the game still makes sense and has more sense than imaginable
all in all the game was great i loved it and look forward to seeing more like it throughout the internet.

Beautiful

Probably one of the best games I have ever played.

The story is obviously the strong point of this game. Even though I do not agree on your/THINKs philosophical standpoint (I believe that we are actually shaped by our genetic background and our personal history, meaning that there is no free will at all) I absolutely *loved* the story and the way it evolved.

Just a few gameplay points you might want to improve at some point:
- Use the music more efficiently. E.g. make it drastically change at some point, e.g. when you finally are able to leave/wake up or when changing to automatic mode.
- Make the "Scan" button more obvious. I had to walk back through all of the game to find the password, because I overlooked the button.
- Make the puzzles a tad more challenging. Right now, everything is pretty much straight forward

Anyway, thank you very much for creating and sharing this.
