I prefer not to say too much about the game, as discovering the details for yourself is part of the experience. My personal thoughts about the game and its history are in the afterword, but interpreting its meaning is up to you. Everything in the game is there for a reason.

Description:
The Infinite Ocean is a Myst-style point & click adventure game. It's fairly big for a flash game, and has a lot of story, so to enjoy it you need to take your time.

Instructions:
You interact with the environment by left-clicking.
To turn left or right, move your mouse to the edge of the room and click on the arrow that appears.
The main menu appears at the top of the screen when you move your mouse there.
For more detailed information, read the Instructions/Help screen in the game. (Highly recommended!)

Full of secrets and a sense of disaster

The entire thing is a very emotionally wearing experience, like walking through a past warzone or examining the remains of your bombed home. It's almost crammed full of details that all fit together to make an atmosphere of desperation. Even small things such as the string of binary in the SGDS control computer are intricate - it yields the message "this is a dream" when decoded.

Awesome title

While I couldn't get that far, this is a very cool-looking game. Besides the fantastic graphics, the best part about it is probably the haunting music. It truly gives you the impression that you are off in some strange room and/or dimension with no way out. Everything is done so well with its color. The vastness of this room itself gives off the idea of infinity. There are so many things to look at and yet so few ways to truly help yourself.

The way the shadows are done gives it a real three-dimensional feel. You have no idea what is going on because everything is enclosed so well. I wish I could use some of the computer chips that are in those boxes. I'm sure everything will be more clear when you advance in the game. Thank you for making a really artsy submission.

This is...

Probably the BEST pc game I have honestly EVER played. I had to refer to the video a few times. The story was amazing, and the music made me think of Zelda music, almost godly sounding. Kudos to you, you just surpassed the best thing on Earth... Snapple!

Awesome game

I think the people who rated low either didn't play it or are too lazy to read. It took me about 40 min to beat this game, which is a change is the normal ptc games which only take a couple. If you actually read the logs and pay attention to the story, it's really quite entertaining.
