This is a simple platformer game, made for school.
There is no real goal other than to reach the end in it. What I did try is to optimize the box2D settings as much as possible to make it more playable and fun ^^.
The block represents me (it had to contain something personal, so the hair was a fair choice).

I wanted to make a platformer game for a long time... but you know, I don't know why I didn't. I think I just lacked the courage to start building it :p.
(I had a prototype - about two years ago - using my own physics, but it was kind of buggy and all)

Well, since school started again, we were introduced to box2D, I knew of box2D, but never got to actually checking it out (in code I mean).
Since I now know how to use box2D I will be making more fun physics stuff in the future ;).

Music is made using Mario Paint Composer for OSX. (unfungames.com/mariopain tcomposer.htm).

Enjoy.

EDIT:
Thanks for the reviews, I'll keep it in mind for the next game I make (sometime).

Nice cool,

It's cool, you need more levels and a bit of a story, but overall good gameplay and physics. The music is really continuous and kind of bothering.

I like the start of my music, but I couldn't seem to continue it... well, next time I'll try harder or ask someone else to make me some music.
We'll see.

a good start

needs more levels as stated, and has a very unfinished feel, but hopefully your next one is more complete. my biggest suggestions would be to keep up the subtle humor you have in there, and also, it said "level up," which gave me an idea. you could give the player new powers with each level, things like more jumps and maybe attacks or something.

Giving the character more jumps was something I already had in mind, but more in a way of collecting jumps while airborne (like coins or something).
It's interesting someone else has a similar idea. It means it might be interesting to actually implement it.

Music in loop!!

I always enjoy a good platformer, you are doing a great job, but you should try to diversify the music, although it as a funny ring to it, it can get a bit annoying.
