This is my third submission, the first in color. It's based on the song Arnold Layne from the well known British group, Pink Floyd.
It's basicly the story of Arnold, a normal man with a strange hobby.
Keep up until the very end. I'm pretty proud of it and I hope you'll like the effort I put in my third "baby".
Frontpage! Thanks to eveyone who took the time to watch Arnold's story!
loved it havent heard that song in forever great job keep it up
You should listen to some Pink Floyd someday.
hahahahahahahahaha good video men cool and interactive
Nice it pleased you.
I'm a girl.
Loved the animation ! but..
The animation and work gone into this really shows ! Theres alot of little details that really make this stand out ! Everything was really smooth !
Unfortunately the only thing that stopped me from enjoying it was the song, its not just that is " isnt my thing " but it seems really whiny and well i wont go into it.
Over all, very well done.
Pink Floyd can't please everyone, he:)!
I'm glad you liked it anyway!
Good ol' Syd Barrett
Thanks for this interpretation of an ol' Pink Floyd tune, locked away in the closet as tightly as Arnold's own hobby. I appreciate your shedding light on this song for me; I hadn't really payed too much attention to the lyrics. Now I'll have to give it another listen.
Syd Barrett wrote about things nobody else payed attention to. The only other writer in rock to address those subjects just to the left of mundane was David Byrne of Talking Heads. I love that stuff. Since it was immediately accessible, that made it immediately strange and thought-provoking. I never gave Syd a fair shake, though; I thought he was always writing about LSD. Now I'll have to go back and listen to old Floyd.
I'd like to see what you'd do with "The Gnome."
Gee, THAT'S a great Idea! I never tought about doing something based on The Gnome. It should be funny...something full of color and smile, something quiet and cheerfull... I'll think about it!
And yes, i think you should give Syd's song another listen. They don't always mean what you first think they do. That's what funny about the stuff i'm doing. Interpreting songs in my own way.
Thanks for the great review. You gave me something to thnik about.
An indirect Sequel to "The Artist" shows the life of the salaryman
Cornelius & Toots are back, and a Haunted House Ride seems a little spookier than usual!
