Great

Was really fun, its a bit stressful with the grenade launchers but it was good enough for me to continue playing it until I finish it...
The only problem is that the Hostages sometimes run into the bullets... it sucks when that kept on happening to me...

Still a great game :D

Okay

I loved it, but the AI of the hostages SUCKS. It would be perfect if only they didn't constantly run into the grenade launchers' fire. Other than that, one of the best games on the site. Or at least among the top 50.

Very addicting

I'm not sure what it is. The game is roughly made, and there is very little plot, but it is very fun

Doesn't try to make sense

Lets see here.
This is a great game; make no mistake here.
The game play style, the attention to detail, destructible environments and whatnot, all of that is great.
However, there are many issues I cannot overlook.
I suppose one of the greatest issues for me was the control scheme. You should have made the controls customizable. WASD doesn't work for everybody.
Also note that the controls are slightly unresponsive, or at least, they can get that way.
Secondly, there are things that make me question the sensibility of the Terrorists that occupied this building. For instance, there are the rampant hostages.
Any intelligent terror group that tries to get demands through hostages at least knows to lock them up, tie them up, or at very least, have them unconscious, or something of that nature. In some cases, all three.
But these guys, no, they can handle some loose hostages. Because the're bad-ass!!
What I am saying here is, fix this so that the Hostages aren't roaming around constantly and randomly as if they are all as high as a kite. It might be oversimplified to have them all locked in the same room or something, but
you are the designer; its your duty to find intelligent ways around this.

And another thing about the hostages: Why are they all blond women in short, grey dresses? I mean, does that even make any sense? Play a few hostage situation games. I guarantee you fill find several different skins for hostages, not the same look for each and every one. You gotta fix this. At least make the hostages male AND female, not just female.

2 more things:
The ricochet weaponry is a good idea, but aI don't think that it works. I suggest you do this like other hostage games go: Start with a Pistol, and fight enemies to get their guns BUT when you get these guns, they have limited ammunition.
I feel like my Uzi or Machine Pistol (Whatever it is) is too weak, inaccurate, and iffy, and its the only weapon I can have besides the GL, which, I must say is overpowered because of its immense destructive abilities; collateral damage is inevitable when I use it.
One more thing about weaponry: Grenades. Have you protagonist throw grenades farther and more accurately; I five year old can fling those suckers better that this guy can, and he is a grown man who obviously has some kind of combat experience.
Last thing: I'm not asking for a Mass Effect quality, stellar, riveting plot that makes me look at the world differently, but I at least want to know SOMETHING about Who I am, where I am, who I am fighting, and how I even know my girlfriend is in there!

Is you put all of the above aside, I just want to say that this is a great game nevertheless. Its challenging, exciting, action-packed, slightly polished, addicting, and in its own way, unique. The music is good as it fits the mood. However, after dying the 25th time, it can be slightly annoying. Maybe make another song, and have the 2 themes alternate between levels. That would be good.

Alright. Very good game. Some work and it will be a beauty. Make a sequal, and I will be among the first few to play it. :)

btw, you want some creative assistance, mail me. Would love to get involved.
