If the controls don't work at all, please click on the game screen first. An update that fixes this issue is on its way, but it needs to be approved by NG first.
Other than that - the arrow keys need to be held down. Once you get older, your avatar moves slower and the keys need to be held down for a little longer to make him move.
Button tapping pointless, keeping button pressed super effective.
I hope this clears some things up, I guess it wasn't as intuitive as I thought (sorry about that, i guess).

Pretty awesome(:
I really like this game! It's pretty fantastic(: It's really simple, but it's very interesting and a time killer. The only critique I have is that you should make it easier to move, it seems a bit hard to control at some points. Great job nonetheless!

really depressing game :(
i guess right now i'm wasting my time playing flash games instead of making a two combo social-life/ romantic date. Its official, i need a restart button or reload screen on my life :(

I remember this one..
I played this before somewhere long time ago. This game is easy and fun, finished it in 15 minutes. Aldo as i read the words that pop on screen, it makes me think. Of everything that i am missing out right now. By sitting here.. It motivates me even more to do something usefull. And for that i thank you.
p.s. try to miss everything, you get the saddest end in game.

Great game
A very creative way to get people to sub-consciously see what they may see as important in their lives, when they're actually just playing a game.
Although the game isn't very complicated, it was a change than what I am used to seeing on this site, so it was a welcomed change.
I do wish that the controls of the left and right can be smoother sometimes. Instead of having the design of going slot to slot, you should try to code it to be a free range moving control scheme, which would make it so much more fun.
Overall, a great game, and a fine job.
i used free range movement in the early versions of the game, however it felt somewhat unprecise. one would spend more attention to the location of the character than on the opportunities dropping from the sky. i understand your point though, thanks for stopping by.

but i dont know if i like a game making judgements on how your life will be if you dont catch anough symbols falling from above

4/5 cuz it doesnt have penis you could have easily included
