Echoes is an action-strategy game. It's set in an extensive universe on a torn Earth almost three-hundred years in the future. It joins the famous real-time strategy genre with many elements from the third person shooter genre, in a side-scrolling environment.
Please note this game is loaded with action, and may load on your cpu. If you have any slow frame rates try to lower the graphic settings. Also note Echoes is a heavy story-teller, with scenes and dialogues. If you're in only for the action, there's always a skip button in the corner.

it`s good BUT....
As much as I loved the story line and the actual game I found several things that.... could have been better. I found that the controls didn't always work especially when I really needed them (in the middle of a battle). I've seen more complicated games than this with a much more simple control panel.
And the thing I found that the AI for my guys was pretty bad. If for example certain people on my team were being attacked, IF others of my team were next to them but not getting attacked they tended to not do anything. And maybe it would have been nice that whilst building and commanding troupes, the game would pause at least until I finished instead of all my troops being killed because my mouse wasn't prepared to click where I needed. NOT to say it wasn't a good game but I just felt it could have been better. If any of these problems was because of my computer I apologies but this is what I found.
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEST INSALLEMENT

its good but it has flaws
the game overall is good and i quite cant explain it in one giant paragraph so here is a massive series of them
the controls are a bit....how can i put this......wild and unbalanced if i hit Shift+mouse wheel it reloads the page which is not good at all.....also the game has a nasty habit of moving when i need to press the buttons for another gun which not only knocked off my aiming but becomes a great liability
also the transitioning from strategy to combat broke up the game play quite a deal
on to the story mode, the story mode shifts too fast at times and doesnt give you enough time to understand everything or fully enjoy it,and it was surprisingly short hopefully the game makes up for this liability with its survival mode....
Nope completely wrong the survival mode is just a whole bunch of enemys whaling on you till you die and you dont even have a lot of time to even make troops this becomes very annoying at a dramatic pace and i dont like it at all also this being paired up with the close to poor controls makes the survival mode very annoying
before i put the final stab into this games heart i want to give it a a little bit of credit!it is a pioneering idea and sure its not perfect but it is still well rounded in different aspects but the game needs improvement try to increase the time in between rounds to 1:45 this will give time to actually gain resources and have time to get a short breather
this game was good but it quite wasn't The last stand good
in a nut shell i would play it and recommend it to the hardcore RTS with player control crowd but unfortunately they dont quite exist yet since strategy is played in mostly a god perspefctive so i will give this game its own genera
this is what i would like to call a MIBNQTAINABOIBTRBIOTRTS (more immerse but not quite there and it needs a bit of improvement before it really becomes its own thing real time strategy game)but over all i liked it sure i didnt love it and want to dry hump it like everyone else but hell a review is supposed to be my honest opinion and hate it if you want but this is exactly what i believe this game is in other words i give you a cookie
(if it gets that improvement ill call it a RTSWCC (real time strategy with character control)

NO #1 in the highscore!
Epic game! Like really, really great! Just one thing... I've survived like an hour in survival mode (have first place too... sweet) and then all-of-a-sudden the hybrids stopped comming and the countdown got stuck at 0:00. So I spent the last 4 minutes killing myself and blasting the HQ to end the game. I found 4 hybrids standing near the edge of the map and not really appoaching the HQ... just standing and attacking me when I came close.
Also... the ranger ability is impossible to achieve. I never got that much energy and I'd like to see how the ability looks like. Maybe make a vid and post it.
