UPDATE! Now with tasty-ass medals!

Escape a super dangerous mysterious tower as a clumsy medieval hero longing for eternal glory.

This is our new game from the nose and me, folks! And it is also our submission to the funky Halloween 2010 Spookfest! This game is less an action packed slaughterhouse than an ironic take on the genre.

if you go through a door just a split second after you send the old man through it will lock up.

not bad

it was pretty cool and extremely funny, it kinda sucks that the little green bastard is cheating to block both doors now.

what's up with the whole one hit kill enemy you can't even attack crap for like half of the game also? kinda lame how she rushes you.

It really is very monotonous, but there is something that very, very badly needs to be changed. Above all else it needs to SAVE PROGRESS!

I was stuck at the point right after the fox gets eaten by the weapons trader guy who then starts flying around with a knife and fork, where it's the choice between getting squished by the spike crusher, squished by the big barrel, or poked by the flying thing (and to top matters off, I was stuck with the rigor mortis rat as a weapon! I only got it because I thought there was a chance I could use it to make the fox do things by using it as a carrot-and-a-stick sort of thing, but no), and I thought maybe there was a clue in the menu, so I went back to the menu, and when I came back..... it wanted me to start over from scratch!

So if you were to redo it, you NEED to have it keep the progress. And also, you might make your progress something that can be saved multiple times and navigated back to the beginning in case people want to see what they could have done with the doors they never tried if they came upon the right solutions with less effort than it may have taken. And if you did that, you could make it more interesting by instead of having there be just one course of action that allows you to continue at each set of doors, for there to maybe be several - and for there to be dead ends that aren't seen to be dead ends right away. Just to make it challenging. You know, the way it is, there are 3 paths at every junction, and only one leads to the next junction, although sometimes there needs to be some complicated thing like going to the one door to get the rock and then carrying it to the other one to put on the pressure sensor and whatever. But there's always just one path that leads on. You could make it branch a few times, and have several possible courses running parallel. In principle, it could branch out by a factor of 3 at every junction but that would get too complex too fast, maybe let it branch to 10 different paths, and some pairs of them maybe converge and fork again. That would be far more interesting.

But as it is, it was BARELY tolerable from the beginning because the whole premise of just picking doors and picking doors is pretty monotonous, made only just interesting enough to stand to go on because each new set of doors held something different from the last, but if I had to do it all again with the doors I'd already gone through, it would just be too damn boring. So this gets a raspberry and a 6 out of 10 from me. Bthththbthth!
