FPS Game BETA (V 0.1)

Author Comments

This is the first version of my new FPS game. There aren't many features here - but keep in mind that this is version 1. Version 2, which should be out in a couple of months, will include actual levels, an iron sight view and more guns. For now, you're just stuck with the M4. Please give me constructive feedback and more importantly, enjoy!

ITs pretty neat

best shooter ive played so far

Great work, animations are good, sounds are great. I'd like to see more of this, perhaps more targets or even work on targets that shoot back. Keep up the great work!

not bad hope the real thing is better

in the real one you should add more of a story line and move ment (w,a,s,d keys or arrow keys) and i hope the weapon selection wil be more than just 3 or 4. overall i think you did a nice job! this is just a test.

MatteBlack responds:

That was what I was planning to do :D Thanks for the feedback!

not bad

just a few things

headshots should take 2 shots like in other fps games ( on consoles, not here )

targets are too easy to get headshots

targets dont shoot back ( understandable, but this should just be a training level / tutorial. then the next level put on shooting enemies )

screen should not move, let the cursor move... so instead of it being in the middle and mouse moving the camera, have the camera in a static position and let the cursor move free.

other than that this is a great game, but all of that above is just my opinion...

MatteBlack responds:

The camera moves around cos' I want to imitate the 3D camera movement found in most FPS games like counterstrike. It's more realistic. Well, to me at any rate...
