Defeat the enormous mechanical beasts--and become one of them.
4.02 / 5.00 41,888 ViewsA small project made for Uni. We had to create an infographic guide in flash. I thought it might be fun to take the interactivity of the piece to a new level by making it similiar to a platformer game. It fit well with the theme of becoming a nerd.
Yeah, it's not super fun, and you can't kill baddies or anything. But Maybe in the future I'll use what I've made here to create something that actually is a game, and not an over glorified powerpoint presentation.
Difficulty doesn't do anything, it's just to enhance the idea that this is more a game than an instruction manual. So don't bother with multiple play throughs looking for differences.
P.s. The little dots on the webcomics part used to link to their sites, but I got rid of that for the newgrounds version, and changed it to something a little more.. Appropriate? Eh, your all gay anyway. =P

Very informative.
Thank you for the guide. :P Oh, and for the epic sword! I can't wait to show up at school tomorrow just "schwing!"-ing it around at my easily impressed friends. I doubt any of them have witnessed a real pixelated weapon~! >:D
This Review deserves a 1-up.

A good starter's guide to nerdism
However, true nerdism is when, for your webcomics, you choose xkcd.com, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, and maybe Order of the Stick. There is no pulling out of the nose dive into being a nerd once you read them.
Oooh, I haven't read SMBC before, checking it out now. I was mainly going for the webcomics that chicks would dig, mostly because they make up 90% of my classes. Ha ha.

So i ditched the sword and it still says.
That i got it. Also i noticed the comic changed that i had no clothes stead of clothes.
Ah wow, I was wondering if someone was going to pick up on that. Nice. I was thinking about adding the sword to the comic as well, but figured no one would notice. I hadn't really thought about changing the end though.
Thanks for the review. =)

Been funny, even if it was not really a "game". Good concept, maybe still unexploited. Good job.
