I always had a hankering to try and make a game on my own, so I finally took the plunge and made this indie game, which was inspired by my love of Pokemon, and random pop culture nonsense. It's ironic that it took me this long, because I worked in the game industry for many years, but never on the development side. Making games is hard work. Who knew. So thanks to the various people who helped out across the board, because I really couldn't have done it without you.

It's a humble 1st attempt, so I'm hoping to add more as I go along. My thought is that I continually build new features on the same engine and launch more episodes. If you have any feedback, good or bad, I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll never learn! Thanks for your support!

UPDATE: A couple of bugs were raised, so I'm going to work on those next!

wonderful game

Man, I loved this when I was a kid and I love it still. Great job, I'd love to see another game like this from you. (sequel?) Overall, 5/5 10/10. Thanks

Very good.

Much better than most of the first attempts I've seen.
After beating Pachinko, though, I set about to get the bonuses, and though I had already gotten the level 6 one as soon as I unlocked him and the godfather, It froze in a fight with the father trying to get level 8.

You start off as a small frie and then work your way up. it is a good game, but i do wish you could upgrade your inventory higher then 4 ;)

refreshingly fun!

Inventive gameplay and love the character cracks! Upgrading was linear and easy. The game menu was a little confusing at first. Constant "visit our sponsor" cuts were annoying, especially being it was the same ad... over... and over... and over... the need for them is understandable but different ads would've made it palatable and potentially reached a broader audience. (not sure you exactly have control over that) Great job on the game though! :)
