I always had a hankering to try and make a game on my own, so I finally took the plunge and made this indie game, which was inspired by my love of Pokemon, and random pop culture nonsense. It's ironic that it took me this long, because I worked in the game industry for many years, but never on the development side. Making games is hard work. Who knew. So thanks to the various people who helped out across the board, because I really couldn't have done it without you.

It's a humble 1st attempt, so I'm hoping to add more as I go along. My thought is that I continually build new features on the same engine and launch more episodes. If you have any feedback, good or bad, I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll never learn! Thanks for your support!

UPDATE: A couple of bugs were raised, so I'm going to work on those next!

It was and it wasnt

I really did have fun playing this game but it just wasnt an RPG or Adventure game really. I mean yes you did level up and go to new areas but the whole leveling system and fighting system was pointless. The weapons really had no usefulness or changes besides maybe be slightly more accurate or powerful. Why did every weapon hit every enemy? Why did you fight multiple enemies multiple times and even have them in your party sometimes? It just felt like those last levels in an RPG where you where aimlessly wandering around trying to kill enough enemies to make it past the boss or whatever was in the way at the time. I just kept getting more money and hitting the level cap which didnt even stop you from getting stronger and buying more stuff. It was fun like I said but that didnt keep me playing like it should.

i always try and see if there are glitches

it was a good game, things to improve, if you press tab while in the recruit menu, you can get every one with out owning the items it just costs the money and it gives you a negitive if you dont have enough. also if you right click and press play it skips the battle you are in and you win.

all in all it was an awesome game.

Am I the only one?

Who doesn't know how to get people into your entourage? Does it automatically happen? Are you supposed to activate something in-battle? What?

Lotsa fun!

This game was definitely a lot of fun! Got a little repetitive sometimes, but overall still had a blast. I did encounter a bug tho. After I beat the Tequila Monster level, I was shown the end of game text about destroying the Godfather and a sequel before I was supposed to. Also, it is too easy to upgrade your entourage. There is no cooldown time for swapping out someone in battle, so all you do is cycle through all of your members, then use your two strongest to win the battle and everyone gets equal experience. I think in the sequel, you should have more locations to go to and more entourage members. Maybe even consider a design similar to the original Final Fantasy from NES where you have to choose between entourage members and build a permanent fighting party rather than being able to switch to anyone you want between levels. I think that would give the game more replay value too. Anyway, kudos! Great game!

This game was fun but

Sadly its so short. I would definitely play again if you make a part 2 (and also longer version) and it would be awesome if your main charcter can change clothes and what not.

Your ideas are great but this game would be really awesome with more lvl ups
