A call to all our fans! Our latest game has been announced!

Our newest game is called Rogue Legacy, a procedurally-generated Castlevania with an in-depth heritage system. super proud of it, but right now we need your help to get it on Steam.

If enjoyed the games made in the past, it would mean the world to us if you could visit the page below, and give us a vote on Greenlight. /sharedfiles/filedetails/

UPDATE 5: We've uploaded a new version of the game that should hopefully resolve any key-rollover issues.

- The numpad keys can now be used to control the player.
- Q or W will drop quantum shadows.
- D or F will perform a tele-jump (you must be on the ground for this to work).
- The error causing lag issues on some computers has been resolved.

UPDATE 4: An official walkthrough for the game is up. If you're having trouble, you can view the video on YouTube at: www. youtube .com/watch?v=fX7YjMyNCTo
Hey all,

This is our second game and we're sad to say that it is NOT DSYP 2.

It's a puzzle platformer game with a twist. It's got a little bit of a learning curve to it, but if you stick with it, we think you'll like it a lot. It's also got a pretty cool ending if you can make it all the way.

Also, if you're ever insanely stuck, we have an optional level skip button that will be enabled if you're stuck on a stage for long enough.

Arrow Keys or Numpad - Move and Jump
W or Q - Drop Quantum Shadow
SPACE - Teleport
F or D - Telejump (game will press jump then teleport automatically for you).

Have fun!

Unlike others... >.>

I feel like this game is great, regardless of where the action keys are.

In-Game Story 10/10
It's a great story, really reminds me of portal and good news for you, I liked portal, so that's how I feel about that.

Game Play 9/10
I really like the way the game works;
1, because it's a puzzle game that involves skill.
2, Because, again, I liked portal and the way the puzzles were.

I didn't like the repetitive traits to the game, I can't really say exactly how you would fix that, but it seemed to be repeating it's self every so many levels/rooms. Not counting the save spots. lol

*Spoiler Warning*
However that could be because I played the game with all the the characters. haha

The Achievements 9/10
Regardless, I do think that the game should have been different for different characters.
And I'm talking levels/rooms wise, not only story and dialogue.
It would help with my, and pardon me for saying this, boredom with the same levels/rooms over and over again issue.

All in All 9/10
It's an excellent game, the buttons aren't a big deal at all, the story was cool, and the puzzles were great. I look forward to an MFQT2 or something like that.

Never seen a game up on the front page 2 separate times. That's got to mean something.

geath game, and i agree with Brickwiggles, you do feel like the game is worth playing again as each character, and for those who cant find the secret medal, here's a hint: they tell you how to get it, you just might not have realized it. Seriously, just think about it.

I just... why?

So yeah, yeah, it's a great game and all: interesting mechanic, challenging yet solvable puzzles, now it's time for a rant.

Are all the people at Cellar Door Games some kind of freakish giants, with 10-inch long fingers? Or maybe you're all concert pianists and classical guitarists with tremendous finger strength.

Either way, us mortals here on Earth tend to avoid using our pinkie to play games, because it's our weakest finger. Maybe you intended for me to put my ring finger on W and my thumb on the spacebar, but y'know what, Cellar Door Games? You don't have to reinvent the wheel. A S and D, Z X and space, these are classics for a reason. They're comfortable, easy, and they don't require me to unlearn years of muscle memory to use.

And anyways, putting my thumb on the spacebar is uncomfortable because then the keys are too close together. My fingers naturally rest at 2, 3 and R.
