Excellent in almost every way...

Except for the fact that bosses can randomly summon more enemies that immediately attack, which makes the last few boss battles so frustrating that I finally gave up. It's simply an overwhelmingly unfair advantage making winning on any level higher than normal basically impossible. Those of you who say you've beaten it on epic and that it was "easy", you are LYING! The difficulty can be fun at times, as it would be boring if it wasn't a challenge, but once you get to the ice area, the bosses become extremely hard. I managed to finally kill the mammoth, thanks to poisoning it and healing every turn, only to find myself facing an annoying f***ing tank that resists both stun and poison that can summon at will enemies that can instantly KO your characters as well as ones that can heal all enemies. Once you manage to kill them, the tank simply summons more immediately and they attack you. If you haven't died by the time you get the tank down to 3/4 of its health, you're likely to be out of MP. I've tried using Limit breaks, but they are frustratingly weak for ultimate moves, especially Lance's. Kyun is really useful, though.

Easily the best EPB so far.

This game rocks, but it has two flaws one major and one not so major. The not so major flaw is battle length. The battles ARE entertaining and have incredible music, but later on in the game some enemies go down in like 10 seconds, then these badass monoliths come out and do ridiculous amounts of damage (and dispel all your buffs) and have like 10 billion health and take an hour to kill because you spend half your time healing and can't attack all that much (or poison them, which is why only the monoliths are problems and not, say, turtles). It's not a huge issue, though, since the fighting's fun and engaging regardless.
The MAJOR issue I had with this game was the mini-games. 1 and 2 are super-easy to get the medals for, and took like 1 or 2 tries. 3 is a bit tougher, and since it's a memory game, some people could have serious problems getting both medals. 5 is challenging, but just fun enough to keep you going, but 4 is an ungodly abomination. The controls for it were terrible, and the second medal nearly required a literally perfect game. It took me two hours to get that medal. On that game, I never got hit once, killed every enemy on the screen almost as fast as they could respawn, and picked up all but 4 or 5 points. And I beat the score by ONE POINT. Not to mention it was boring. I can say without a doubt it is the worst minigame I have ever played in any game, ever, and I did the drill game in Xenosaga 1.

Other than that, this game, well, it just rules. Other than the minigames, I liked pretty much everything this game has to offer (except getting crit for 25000 damage from the dark monoliths in the last area...ouch)
