Well this is it folks, the end of Alice is Dead. I'd strongly advise you to avoid reading reviews until after you've played unless you want to risk seeing spoilers.
Huge thanks to Tom and Newgrounds for once again sponsoring this. And more importantly, thanks to Newgrounds for making such a large collaboration of talented people possible.
And thank you to all of the fans. You guys seriously rock and motivate us more than you know.
First, I have to say. Amazing. It was definatly one of the best games I've played on Newgrounds. The only bits that annoyed me SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER where first, It doesn't really draw a conclusion on that whole cat project thing, which I thought was interesting. Also the cheshire cat which appears in number 2, never seemed to appear in 3. And finally the billboard which kept changing the image on it, I was still wandering what that was about at the end of the game.
The worst bit was I didn't actualy realise that this was the last installment until after I had finished the game, at which point my stomach dropped and my mouth fell wide open.
Overall, really good work and I hope you make another point and click game in the future!!
The Cheshire cat IS in 3, you just don't physically see him too much. But he's there.
The cat project is related to him, and Oystercloud.
I Have play'd All of thease games, They are Simple awesome, and i hope that somthing odd will happin' Bringing back the Rabbit till next time,
And so it ends...
This has been one of the most interesting Flash experiences on this very site. I loved every bit of this series... the black humor, the creepy/noir atmosphere, the incredible storyline, artwork and voice acting - everything.
Excellent job, hope you come back with another superb series. ^^
Love the series
Very rare occasion do I write a review or add something to my favorites but I like this series so much I felt I had to do both. And yes I even took the time to vote 5.
I love a good point and click game and this was exactly that. None of that "escape the bathroom" crap. The "Alice" theme served as a good driving force for all the seedy criminal elements of the game. This game is the best of the three, I love the atmosphere of the club, it reminded me of doing stand up comedy in poorly lit bars followed by a long street car ride home in the rain.
When I saw the thermostat I thought I should crank it all the way up as hot as it can go, then the queen will come out side to cool off then bash his head in with the pipe. Boo Ya!
SPOILER - I normally don't mind an unhappy ending but I have to say it would have been nice to see the rabbit survive. As soon as I got the warning in the text message before getting on the elevator I had a feeling something terrible was going to happen.
Very well done games. Right up there with covert front in terms of all round entertainment with great story-line.
I'm need scratch my back with something sharp now. You have yourself a great day now!
daddy look! I found a kitty!
I still don't see where the chesire cat came in to the story.
A game about people and their reflections
Pure minimalist puzzle game about solving spatial issues
Short visual novel about a mysterious girl hiding a dark secret
