Well this is it folks, the end of Alice is Dead. I'd strongly advise you to avoid reading reviews until after you've played unless you want to risk seeing spoilers.
Huge thanks to Tom and Newgrounds for once again sponsoring this. And more importantly, thanks to Newgrounds for making such a large collaboration of talented people possible.
And thank you to all of the fans. You guys seriously rock and motivate us more than you know.
You do this EVERY "Alice is Dead" game you leave a MAJOR cliffhanger haha I seriuosly only kept checking NewGrounds for Alice is Dead- Ep. 3 and now I need the 4th one. I am loving your games!
What did you do that for?!? All that hard work for nothing.
A bit of problems.
While playing all three games I have noticed that there was quite a few plot holes and the fact that the game is not only short; but had a sour ending.
I rarely got to see the many other characters such as Ann and Chesire cat; even though there are references on them.
The series could had gone longer, rather it would end on episode 5. We rarely got to see the queen at all in the series; we hardly saw Alice even if she was the girl in black, and very few puzzles and difficult item pickups.
The ending is what kinda ruined it for me; there was questions still unanswered and they weren't best answered in a way I hoped it would.
This... ...is the end?
Spoiler Alert! This can't be the end. There are so many questions left unanswered. Like:
What is oystercloud?
Why didn't the rabbit protect himself?
Who did the rabbit kill?
Who was the person the rabbit killed calling?
Why does OYSTERcloud make it rain fish?
What was that creepy thing in episode two?
Who is Mary Ann?
Was she playing "Alice" all this time?
What do cats have to do with oystercloud?
Why was tweedledee in tweedledumb's head?
Why is the queen a him?
and finally for now...
Why was there a question mark in the last frame?
I'll probably have more questions to ask, that I will not get to ask, but you get my point...
The entire series as a whole is outstanding. Great work!
A game about people and their reflections
Pure minimalist puzzle game about solving spatial issues
Short visual novel about a mysterious girl hiding a dark secret
