29/7/03 - I found this sweet version of the Monkey Island theme on Overclocked Remix (link to the left). When I made this, I didn't play guitar, nor did I know much about it. So if the guitar playing looks off or something, that's why. I might re-make this some day, but that's highly doubtful

"Could be better..."
The idea wasn't bad... However, you should work on it a lil' more. Music was original except i couldn't hear anything familiar and get rid of some animals... It's a BIT disturbing you know.

It was a worthy attempt at a monkey island tribute using an *awesome* version of the opening theme, but it wasn't without its faults. The graphics seemed out of place, you should have either recreated the backgrounds from the game or made the guitar and its player more pixellated. Just suggestions, I hope you can remake it taking these things into account.
"Improvements"
Instead of a rock guitar, use a banjo (real MI fans should know why) And instead of a chipmunk, use Guybrush not enough monkey feeling

This was so boring! worst of all the money island parodies. why is there a chickmunk in it? barley has anything to do with money island except for the song and back rounds, we wanna see guybrush not some gay fruity animals.

I'll admit, the music was awesome but there is just NOT enough going on in this video to make it attractive or different. In fact the video bored me so silly I forgot the music was playing.
