-Brief Background-
This is my first animation in about 5 years. I left Flash alone while i studied 3D Studio Max in university but because i choose not to enter the gaming industry because off having a son i started picking up flash again while he was asleep. I am used to old school flash back when it was Macromedia Flash and AS2.

-About the Animation-
The original song was from the 1972 movie "Deliverance" and then covered by "Hayseed Dixie" in the 2005 album "Hot Piece of Grass" i am assuming other bands have covered but these are the two major sources.

I animated each string which was a mile stone in itself for me and i did my best animating the hands over the frets (couldnt find any tabs). I cut the song down on Adobe Soundbooth by 30sec because i was slowly growing sick off the song, but i found more inspiration and finnished it off.

I do hope to improve on my animating skills and make my future videos alot better, but thank you for taking time in watching this and also if anyone has requests or ideas on what music piece i should animate next OR what in general i should try next ill take all suggestions in consideration.

Hmm....

giving a 5 cuz i like the song. seriously needs more movement. it feels like a practice animation after reading a tutorial.............is it? anyway, its ok though. keep practicing.

p.s. try 3ds max again. dont need to do video gaming. theres a ton more stuff out there. as long as it can be fake but made to look real, you're good to go

Multodex responds:

No it isnt just off a tutorial its more of a catch up animation like i said nice 5 year gap so its from what i learnt back then. I do still tamper with 3D Studio max but i dont want to actually make a carrier out off it (im more off a family man) maybe the bit off free lance stuff but nothing major.

You are insane

I cant imagine animating every one of those strings throughout the whole song. A+ for effort. Not much going on in the flash but it served its purpose.

Good Practice

It's good that you're getting back in the saddle after being away from Flash for so long. Keep practicing and I wouldn't be surprised if you made the front page.
