Am I the only one who thinks this?

I was so disappointed when I figued out how to get past the first half of the last level. This game would be 10 times better if the second ending didn't exist.

Think about it. The dark tempter, in honeyed tones saying, "there *must* be another way out." Then you realize: why would he tell the truth now when he's lied to you through the whole game? What makes you trust that that final medal can be unlocked? You smile, knowing that, even though you're forever trapped in an endless cage, at least you haven't fallen for his empty promises.

See, the thing is, this isn't the first flash game to play around with the idea of instructions that lie to you, or resisting authority in a game. And pretty much all of them have an ending similar to this one, where the character escapes to freedom. This almost had an interesting idea, but it ended up to be kinda run-of-the-mill.

Couldn't be buggered to figure all of the controls

It was okay... it was less fun, and more just mindfuck. The difficulty was just in button mashing until something worked. I stopped playing after five minutes.

Decent.

Graphics are pretty good, the sound isn't overly repetitive, and the music adds to the depth. The story is also quite interesting, but how do I get the best ending? I keep getting taken back to "Deception" after I get the bad ending.
