Hey everybody, we're back with a new game full of bright, sparkly colors and soul-crushing challenges. Give Up, Robot is a game about jumping, grappling, and repeating...with hundreds of deaths in-between. If you have a tendency to cry like a baby go ahead and crawl away, 'cause this one won't hold your hand. Then again, if you pour brutal platformers on your morning cereal, you'll have something to look forward to in Give Up, Robot, especially in the Hard levels. Swing your way through 61 levels until you achieve Zen-mastery of robotic locomotion. Just don't expect any encouragement on the way, OK?

Left/Right arrow - Move

X, S, or Up arrow - Jump

Z or A - Fire your grappling hook. Release to let go.

After firing your grappling hook, the Up and Down arrows adjust your height, the Left and Right arrows adjust your swing.

To pause the game, click outside the game window. Click inside the window to un-pause.

I remember when this was only on adultswim...
it took me over an HOUR to get to level 50 back then, and I NEVER fucking beat it...
seriously I must've spend over half an hour fucking trying to finish it :/
but here, I got to lvl 50 in about 20 minutes
and after 10 long minutes... VICTORY! it felt so sweet
but wait.... there's a hard mode?
ok level 1... easy enough

why does this game hate me?

Made it to level 47 before I decided I didn't need this kind of punishment. On top of being painfully complicated at times, the physics aren't consistent. Standing still on one point the hook would shoot at many different angles, randomly. The same action would produce different results just because. So it's not only a matter of ability, it's a matter of luck, or whether the game decides to let you pass or not. One thing is to make a game challenging, another one is to just make it intentionally frustrating.

Awesomely hard game, if only there was a mute button.
