Ok this project took us two weeks. The original story and idea is made by Facundo Balboa (MonoFlauta in Newgrounds) he also is the programmer, the artist Is Huw Millward (Neverzonegaming in Newgroudns) and voices by Fro (Newgrounds account).
This story is about a yak called Rigoberto that travels to find something... it's a difficult game, but not an impossible one.
You only need arrow keys, the bosses will defeat their selves so you don't need to attack, good luck to everyone :D

Worthy Enough

In honesty it doesn't deserve a ten but to be fair it gets a seven. The good stuff: The music and art are really well put and the story was funny. The bad stuff:Tthe walk and jump cycle is what let this game down. The jump is sometimes delayed/it doesn't go high enough and the walk cycle should have been faster. The levels are really creative and challenging and so are the bosses. You're right it wasn't impossible because I've finished it, though I am glad you put in a walkthrough for us. This had potential but kind of went down hill.

MonoFlauta responds:

Mmmm ok i didnt make it faster so doesnt how fucking fast but yes maybe a bit would be better... also the jump thing... its not impossible i dont find it like a bug or something like that....

Well... nothing more to say i think this review at least accept that its difficult not impossible

Thanks for revviewing

Not very good

I didn't like it that much. I would like to see more movement of the character, instead of him only moving his feet. It also could be improved if you made more variation in the level design. I also found a glitch: you can stand im the chinese guys in the first level without getting hit. But the most important thing that can be improved is the jumping. I quitted this game because of that. The jump system is programmed that if you are on the edge of the platform, the yak doesn't jump but instead falls straight into the pits, and if you are too far away, you don't make it, and you jump into the pits too. Because of that I often miss the first or the second jump in the first level. What irritates me too is that you can't defeat the enemies. Come on, a yak who gets killed by a seagull. That's not fair. So make it possible to jump on it, kick it, at least there must be something you can do. And the bosses are boring too. At least the first one is. I mean, stand in the middle and jump over the samurai 30 times, and then he kills himself. What's the fun of that? Again, make it possible to jump on him. Also, make continues. That way, you can retry a level more times, so your chances of survival for the next time are higher. For example: After I was game over due to the eskimo hehind the ice pillar in the second level, I knew he was there. But then I needed to complete the first boring but glitchy level again, before I was able to get there again. And I didn't want to do that all again.
The positive points are that the yak is cute and that the music fits well. But the game has too much glithches to be entertaining. I'm sorry.

Come on, a yak that travels around the world... its that the game doesnt have sense!

I think that most of problems you discrebe are practice ones... you need to practice to win it easy... i can win it without cheating (because it doesnt have cheats) and loosing one or two life... see the walktrough... you will see its not an impossible game and the problems you are telling to me are just practice one

Not that good.

The art was good and the music was fine too, but the controls.. OMG the controls.. They just suck soo much, and that's why I give you such a low score. Controls are like the most important thing in the game. To jump is ridiculously hard to manage and the enemies are just too fast even for the first level (the seagulls).
Sorry for this, but the game is pretty bad cuz of these reasons.
5/10 at most.
Z.

MonoFlauta responds:

Well i think that is not a bad control thing, its just practice... thanks anyway for the review

disapointing

background and other stage decorations were very amusing. immensely enjoyed the music. i found the response time to be a little off. i also had a lot of issues in the second level were none of the drop offs could be seen. very frustrating, to say the least.

MonoFlauta responds:

Well but its not impossible, I posted the walktrough... thanks anyway for comment :D
