The game that puts you in control of a brave stick figure, struggling to escape from the dungeons of the sinister Dark Knight! 31 rooms filled with treacherous traps, vicious monsters, and fiendish puzzles! Wii browser compatible! A Flash game unlike any other!

Seven years in the making, Dungeon Escape is a flash homage to classic laserdisc games like Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.

It was the project I used to teach myself Flash and Actionscript way back in Flash 5, and I've come back to it from time to time over the years between other projects to slowly add more rooms.

Enjoy!

One brief caveat is that, since the game involves quickly clicking spots on the screen, you're much better off using a mouse than a trackpad.

Addicted

So far I've clocked up about an hour and a half of playtime on this and I still haven't finished it. That probably says lot about my level of skill :( but I'm addicted and can't leave it alone. I like the stick graphics as well. Keep up the good work.

A bit minimalist, but pretty good. :-)

To say I was expecting essentially a version of Dragon's Lair would be an understatement, but I rather liked what you did, actually... even if it is, of course, as hard as 'Dragon's Lair' was, after a fashion.

If you do something like this again, you may consider updating the graphics some, but obviously that's something that comes with experience. I would, however, suggest adding in keyboard controls, even if it means sacrificing some of the difficulty... having to click on certain spots on the entire screen makes it more tricky than it perhaps should be. Barring trial-and-error, I suppose.
