It's ok but too hard seeing as my character was constantly acting as if i was still holding down keys that i wasn't

Thou art a cruel and angry programmer!

Lovely little twist to platforming. Although I found myself cursing your name at one point, any fustration brought on by the game was always immediately laughed off by the admittedly clever quirks added to some deceptively simply level design.

It was however very disappointing to see this charm be boiled down into just another unforgiving platformer in the games conclusion despite it's clever ending.

Really nice visuals though, they leapt out as a really good Game Boy game, which supported by the funky little soundtrack, created a sweet retro feel. The many little details in all gave the game a great atmosphere, my only hope is that future games are confident enough to remain consistent.

flashygoodness responds:

Thanks a lot. I didn't program the main game though; I only fixed bugs and programmed the level editor. Originally I was brought into this project just to compose music, but I am a programmer as well. (This is Flashy talking, by the way.)

Good game. But until all the medals work, I can only give you a 9.

flashygoodness responds:

I'm guessing it's the Tenacious Eid medal. The description isn't clear enough for that one... but I had no control over that section.

I loved this game. It put a new twist on a platformer game. Kinda reminded me of Final Fantasy Tactics with it's list of rules you could not break within the tower. This game was challenging, and I'm happy for that.

Too many games today are dumbed down or made way too easy. Then on the other hand, other flash games are made way too hard, due to shitty programming or just poorly thought out concepts. This game, I feel hit right in the center. It was just challenging enough, and it took a little thought to get around some of the rules. I found this a lot of fun, and I'd love to see a sequel, or an additional level pack.

One thing that confused me though... what was the wish that the traveller asked for? For things to be in color? I wasn't quite sure about that.

Much too hard

Well... it started getting hard around lvl 5 and I got up to lvl 9 and it was impossible for me to beat. I tryed that level for more than hour before giving up. Should tone this down.
