Simply awesome the controlls could have been better but other than that it's quite a good game.

A Cartooney Dead Space

The game is flat-out fun, and had managed to remind me of Dead Space. It's not scary, if that was what the maker of the game had intended, but none the less great experience. 9/10

not sure why i never played this through all the way. I enjoyed it very much. The mood was entertaining.

Two cents worth: It was a bit easy to defeat the bosses. Example, to defeat the end boss i merely had to sit on the upper big platform and keep shooting. the bosses attack pattern doesn't hit there (if it does it can't be too often as i've fought a few times now with the same results, not a single hit)

I'd like to have seen a more developed story, especially the backstory about the mysterious alien yellow bugs, or as the game progresses, the protagonist might learn more about them, where they come from, why they need the humans in order to enter our dimension if they're on the ship already, why the humans mutate if they're simply hosts to parasitic aliens, and perhaps even seeing more of their "homeworld". And more naked gory mutant people. >_>

This particular engine could be incorporated into a completely different game, IE "a space shooter/rpg" which allows a specialist from your ship to infiltrate enemy ships after they've been disabled in combat. I'm not so sure how possible it is, but it's games like this that make me wonder what if one could "merge" several different engines in one large scale game. Strategy game elements with shooter and side scrolling platformer.

The detail of the backgrounds is quite wonderful and admittedly the "open space" areas in the bridge are what led me to the concept of adding several different styles into one game.

This old beast is just a reminder that of your versatility in concepts. Considering your latest project has made such a huge stir, i doubt we'll see much in the way of rekindling older concepts or even sequels to games like this. It's unfortunate that the "mob" would much prefer to focus on one very good game rather than delving to see a plethora of excellent ones. I do find myself hopeful that one day you might work on more scifi/thriller/horror games, and perhaps make something as widely recieved as other projects you've done.

Great game but random flaws

I loved the game but hated the stupid final boss fight. The boss himself isn't hard at all. But jumping on the first platform that begins the boss battle is such a pain!
You shouldn't have the screen move to the right when you're in mid air. I've overshot the jump because of this about like 4 times before finally fighting the boss. And if you accidently fall off the stage after you killed the boss, it'll glitch on you and you'll have to refresh the page.
