could use some work.
maybe you should make some type of sound when your hitting a kid with water to know that your actually hitting them. but overall not bad I think it will make it to newgrounds =)

I'm not saying this...

because I'm on the other team, but this game could REALLY use some improvement.

1. First off, you can't really hit the kids with that little squirt gun that you have. The stream of water is just too thin and they move around too much.
2. You just do one squirt of water, and the gun's water goes down a level. This is a problem.

Like I said before, I'm saying this because I'm on another team in the NG Online Jam, but because it's true.

Needs tweaking.

Dunno what to say, i saw some issues that would need correcting,sure this was a 2 day project but still.
So, lets start:The water stream, takes a lil too long to reach max range, makes it hard to target.And the stream doesn't stop when it's hitting someone.Also, an option to shoot with cursor should be added for easier difficulty.
Grabbing coins with your water stream.What the hell?Who made that?Some collision problems there?
There's seems to be something wrong with the ashes dead people leave..they are on TOP of the screen?Also the GO message looks a little..off, think it's place under the characters, cant really get a good glance though.
Buttons dont seem to work all the time, i kept pressing play for not just one or two times.
Mute button,as awesome as ZStriefel's music is, it needs one.Definitely.
Another thing. why is the main character the only one without a shadow?
Leaderboards.No fun without thinking you're awesome on your first play just to see you actually qualified on the 1525th place.
Last thing, the game only have one level.Not so much fun in that now is it?
Again, i know this was only a two day work, but coding could of done better.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

I like the 8-Bit style. I have to say that even though most of the animation was very simple, most of it was also done very well. The characters were designed well and you had a very nice arrangement and variety. The artists definitely get an A for their work. :)

~ Story/Content ~

I liked the purpose of the game and how it was eventually going to get to the point where there was no way you were going to keep playing. The programmer did a great job at balancing the game and making it manageable, but still challenging at the same time.

The only bad thing (And maybe I missed it, so I didn't take off for that at all) was I didn't understand how the upgrades worked. Could you please respond to my review telling me how they worked so I can come back and play it again? If you actually didn't include it, I do encourage it.

~ Audio ~

The music and sound effects were great. I wouldn't mind seeing some voices here and there, but if your guy was just the sound guy then that's very understandable if there weren't any voices in the submission.

~ Overall ~

You did a great job with the time limit that you had. If you were to have more time I would love to see a level system incorporated. The only downfall was the lack of explanation with the upgrades though. Like I said, I could have very well missed that.
