EDIT 2: Wow, weekly first?! Newgrounds, you are too kind.

EDIT: Wow Newgrounds, you never cease to surprise me, I honestly thought this movie was going to be a big flop, but you have totally proven me wrong. Frontpage and a bunch of really nice reviews! Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the feedback.

Now, I know this isn't what most people would expect from a "Robot Day" submission, but I thought that it may be able to squeeze into the theme, because, who's to say a chat robot doesn't qualify as a robot?

This was inspired by a story I read online (where you can find the story is mentioned in the credits). I liked it so much that I decided it was worthy of cartoon-ifying, and with Robot Day coming up, it was perfect timing. Now, I'm quite aware this isn't the most visually stunning flash you'll ever see, but time became an issue near the end of production, hopefully you will still enjoy it, and please leave a review. I do enjoy feedback.

Oh, and Happy Robot Day!

Nice.

You don't know most people on the internet. They could be anything or anyone. I guess it's up to the viewer's trust and belief, ya?

Amazing

What a lot of people probably don't know about this chat box is that he could in fact be a regular chat box programmed to think human emotions. Going based off the original story, this was one of the multitude of chatters who got in contact with the program/human. From what i know of, as soon as the chat box and partner got to connected, the user would get disconnected and another would fill the spot. This occurred until he got in contact with the creator, who told him that his memories were coded, and that his behavior was unacceptable. The Bot itself is debatable to being a bot or an actual human trapped in a room, Its the viewers choice to decide his true reality.

I could see this turning into a multitude of series that depict the bots future after he is disconnected from this particular user, and is transfered to another. Ending with a possible cliff hanger that would leave the audience asking if he's real or not.

cool

but creepy in a kind of way too... because we don't know what that thing is about... that person/bot telling that it's trapped somewhere.

Woah...

Something with deep meaning here is fantastical! It was a nice message from what i got: taking things for granted at the expense of others. The line sure was blurred, and there was always second guessing!
