This game is about two lovers named January and September.
No, wait; it's about a group of people who don't believe in the sky.
No, it's about a pantheon of scientific disciplines.
Or maybe it's about an ancient beast who knew exactly when it was going to die, and how.
It's about a place. A place called Looming.

This game got me sleepy.
I loved the the story and all, it was an excellent game but I couldn't finish it. It just got boring and repetitive.

Real original
I love it how you have to find the rods and tablets, and then piece together what happened there. Also, you have to find these hidden signposts that explain what looming is(in a way...). awsome game, gonna come back to it and try to find all the artifacts. =)

I cant' understand why this game is so successful.
Personally I like these games with some moral meaning included in their gameplay, and i guess this game is supposed to be like this. I see that the gameplay and music are made that way to give a player a mysterious feeling.
But for me it's just a game where you walk with some stickman on the world where everything makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, what's all the point of this? You collect some stuff with random descriptions and different endings shows you some letters which also have no meaning.
I'm not a kind of person who can't dig out some deep meaning from a game, and if this game were supposed to give some arterthoughts, I'd catch that.
A cool climate made of basic graphics and creepy music won't make a game so "deep".
