Great game
This is one of the few games that really touch people and make you think. I really enjoyed it. But it was kinda confusing wheter the main character(Pete) woke up or died at the end. Looking at the facts that the bird said ''I lied'' when you entered the basement, and the ferryman (Charon, He who carries souls to the afterlife. AKA death.) in the water reflection and the bright light, i assume they (family) ''pulled the plug''.

Perfection!
This is just incredible. The settings are beautifully paired with the eerie plot line. The atmosphere is absolutely nailed and a lot of that is attributed to the music. This was also really touching story. Great job, definitely a must play.

Hey!
Pretty damned cool! Nice work.

very nice
my only complaint is that using the mouse in tandem with the arrow keys is awkward; I think you could have made the very simple system of scrolling through dialogue regulated to a key button like a or z or something like that.
Still, I very much enjoyed the atmosphere, the music was very fitting, the art style was rather nice.
There really isn't any way to die, which I suppose is alright; though it certainly would've added in some tension if some things very ACTIVELY discouraged you from ringing the Dore Bell.
Note: the NG front page description kinda ruins a lot of the experience by kinda giving things away.
Still, a very nice game; congratulations!

Loved It!
This is a really beautiful game. It flows so well and looks amazing. The music is also brilliant. I have only one question...who is the sihlouette of the man in the reflection of the water on the boat?
