Inspired by a number of different strategy games, ADoE combines elements of turn-based strategy with fast-paced tactical combat.

While there are similar Flash games out there, I think ADoE manages to innovate with a bit more strategic depth. This of course comes at the cost of somewhat greater complexity, but it shouldn't be too difficult to pick up. It stands out graphically too in my opinion, using plenty of pre-rendered 3D instead of vector graphics. It does require a decent computer to run well though, especially in late game when armies get pretty big.

Even though this game is fun the cpu is to hard to beat I suggest making the earlier nations easier to take and the lat er ones more difficult

it's kind of difficult at the beginning but after some restarts it becomes very addictive

Very Fine Enginiering.

I must say very sophistacatated manner of gameplay i had high hopes and i wasnt disapointed but in my own manner of opinion it would be nice to choose your faction like hmmmmm persians and barbarians or egyptians.Id also like to see where you can build citys and monuments to draw a bigger economy and each side with different monuments avalible to them and each monument doing a special thing for that nations like egyptians being able to build pyramids.and each nation having a special advantage like egyptians have more weatlh start with theese ideas and youll get a better grade from everyone in the sequal.
