A sad tale about love, Loneliness, life and death. A lost soul in a poor heart.
A movie by Dimitri Kozma
Music by Metropol
You try hard
See the sun
Not for me
Not for us
You can be what you can see
Don't you realize?
I'm not here to say these things
I want it now
I want it up
I wanna tell you something
I can look now
It's this half time
I wanna tell you something
You try hard
It's for life
not for death
Like a bridge is hard, to cross with your eyes
You're castaway, you see in the sun
Your jokes are bright
You're still here tonight, tonight...

This was a wonderful animation of such a sad tale. It was great.
And that's such a sad story below :'(
I know this kind of pain
First off I'm only in my mid 30's but I have endured this kind of pain. I was 23...and I we were suppossed to be going out on our 1 year anniversary...but I got a touch of the flu and I was laid up for a week. the day that I finally got better I was getting ready to go and see her...the phone rang...it was her mother...she had been in a car accident. I got to the hospital just as the doctors told her parents that she did not make it...her injuries were too severe.
I spent the entire day in the hospital. I asked to see her and I was allowed a brief visit...but I had to leave the sheet that covered her head in place "You don't want to remember her like this." I was told when I reached up to see her face one last time. I kissed my fingers and touched where I hoped her lips were and had to be escorted out by a nurse. I broke down as soon as my hand let the bed she was on and I just cried and cried like a baby on the floor...It took 3 nurses to get me to a chair.
When I finally got home I saw a small box on my the coffee table where i sit my keys...it was the ring I was going to give her...she loved Opals--they were her birthstone--and I managed to get a heart shaped cut one with our names laser etched on the band. I still have that ring in my drawer as well as a picture that we took just 2 weeks prior. It was just a simple picture of us--our arms around one another her head on my shoulder...her smile as bright as the sun..mine bigger than I can remember. I recall that it was in that moment that I was REALLY...TRUELY HAPPY.
It's been just over 10 years now since she left this world I still visit her on her Birthday ever October and every annivesary. I cried when I watched this...I still am but the ending when they are reunited once again...I know that when my time comes we will once again be with each other. And just like in the movie I will be holding her ring and our picture when I finally go.
Thank you for such a sad yet beautiful tale.
Oh my god, RogueDragonKnight...
You made me cry. Your history is so sad, so painful...
Thank you for share your feelings. It was really generous and kindly.
amazing the sound quality is low but the message got through
Yes, the sound (and video) quality had to be lower to fit newgrounds. In Vimeo it's in HD.
It looks good and it all works well and the music is fine.
the story drags on a bit, it seems stretched out to fit the song. We got the idea of him missing her etc...
Then, when I was a bit bored and fed up, the end came and it was worth it!
Thanks for your comments, IceDragon64.
In fact, this is a short movie and a videoclip for the Metropol band at the same time. ;-)
Poor video and sound quality, but other than that it was great.
I had to low the video and sound quality to fit on Newgrounds 10mb limitation. :-(
