I like the physics of it

just touch up the environments, make more environments (sidecrolling), try your hand at achievements, and see what you can do about the slight lag when you start moving the ball.

its okay

i mean its not a terrible idea however the framerate is definatly an issue. the ball takes forever to move and when you do get it to move it rolls rather awkwardly.

Hmmm....

The concept for this game is interesting. However I think it lost some of the appeal that it had when I realized that the ball didn't go up the ramp as much based on the actual speed as based on scripted events. From what I could tell, for the most part there were two possibilities at the bottom: go up or roll back down. Then what happens changes based on which ramp and the direction that you press. Some sort of physics in the game (the closest thing I can think of is the Fancy Pants Adventure series) would really spice up the concept. I'm sure that's difficult, and I feel like a complete n00b and kind of a jerk suggesting that as I have no personal experience in programming, but as a player that's how I feel. In a game like this, dropping down the entire screen should make me fly off the ramp on the left faster than if I just went up it normally.
Art-wise, it's simple, but that's okay, especially as you said this isn't a finished copy of the game. What I would warn against is oversimplifying certain things. Actually showing the elevators would make it more obvious that they're there.
Finally a couple bugs I noticed. First the music cuts out after a bit. I'm gonna go ahead and assume you know that but I figure mentioning it is good just in case. Also, if you enter the left elevator shaft and then press right it teleports you up to the top right platform. I'm not sure if that was intentional.
tl;dr Physics are good, try to show elevators, spruce up the environment a bit, music stops after a while, ball teleports out of left elevator if you press right while at the bottom.
