The Lock Legion needs to learn a saying that taught me perhaps more than anything else:

Look at all of the super popular CC movies that have thousands and thousands of views. On a technical level they are all absolutely terrible animation wise, but the fact is they were finished and submitted. In an extreme example, look at The Portal by MrSimon. Imagine if mrsimon had have posted those backgrounds and scenes piece by piece here. You guys would have torn him apart.
My point is even though they still "technically" weren't good, they still went on to become these mega idyllic popular movies that cemented their status on NG. It is extremely delicate saying this, but I daresay you people are placing too much emphasis on quality rather than quantity this time around.
Admittedly it took a while for me to break out of that shell. Around 2005 I had gotten so disillusioned with Flash because the growing standards of everyone else had pushed me into this corner of ultimate detail and realism, and the truth was I was never able to finish anything. Backgrounds would take hours and hours. Objects even more. It just wasn't sustainable. Mp3 helped break the habit by presenting to me the fact that for all the hours I spent making these fancy guns, they would only be shown as small objects that no one would really see. I mean, who's going to stop a movie just to zoom in on the guns? What was I thinking? By then I was already disillusioned and it wasn't until mid 2008 that I returned to flash and made Clocknam Tales in about a week.
I propose that you people stop being so obsessed with perfection, loosen your reins, say fuck it and actually go back to submitting something because it's better than doing nothing."

What you say about not being able to "convince anybody" is bullshit. I've spent a few years on various sites and I can guarantee you, not only I, but atheist communities have been able to deconvert countless christians, muslims, and jews.
Secondly, the reason I am "pushing" my position on you, Shark, is that I really do pity you for this idiotic, nonsensical delusion you cling onto so dearly. After reading a few of your posts here, it's obvious that you're a highly intelligent person, capable of independent thinking. Every time I see someone like you, a highly intelligent religious person, I shed a tear for the future of mankind.

You're forgetting that you're talking about the god of the Old Testament. You're completely repelling from the scripture, and you're even making your own versions of it. Why would you need to make your own version of a book that is supposedly the infallible word of the supreme ruler and creator of the entire fucking universe?
Don't worry, I know what you're going to say here .. "It's open to interpretation", am I right? You know why you're interpreting it? It's because you don't agree with it. I wouldn't be surprised if you even barely liked it. Therefore (since you have no other choice), you cherry pick out the nice, cute parts you like. Bottom line is, I'd like to see you try to live according to the Old Testament for a week, cause right now, you're not Jewish, you're Youish.
But I do like this sort of romantic image you have of God. It's sort of like a nice, hippy-fantasty. "God is in the mind", "God exists in that form of a figment of the collective human mind." All this about happiness, spirituality and love. Again, this would have worked very well for a god of comfort, or a god of love, or a god of peace. But the god you're refering to is also the creator of the universe, and that's where your arguements just die logically. Not only the creator of the universe, no; you're refering to the creator of the universe from the Old Testament, where the protagonist, Yahweh, is a seriously fucking deranged, psychopathic mass-murderer.

Yeah I heard Peach's speech but really its pretty long and very inspirational and yet, It makes me wonder! I need better inspiration as in other locks in all. Yet I do get the Point Sunshine but I can't give a 10/10 because its too long of a speech yes? I mean I'm making a good LL flash that might take a longer time to make! But really this speech is pretty inspiring and well Marvelous that is all I'm going to say for now! Oh and Ignore that Yogibeal Guy, I still have more flash than him check my account if you don't believe me!
