This is the first ever interactive flash piece i created, for a university brief. I was required to create a piece based on the subject of 'interactive narrative', and i wanted to 'pay homage' to all my favourite escape-the-room adventure games and opted for a ZOM-COM approach to the project (Shaun of the dead, etc)
I know it's incredibly short, but i definitely discovered more about the 'fictive dialogue branch' type of gameplay that will allow me to make less errors for when/if i decide to make more.
Any feedback would be great!
Interesting
The idea of it all is funny. The story is always most important and unlike most silly things you play in this place, this onw was quite plesant. I agree with FaceOfBear15 onthe matter of the typeface, but plantly said: it is disgusting. Perhaps you could use more simple tones of panel and font color. And some more simplistic handwriting. It would work better with the atmosphere.
But I am really hoping you would do more of these amusing little things.

The art looked great, it has a really creepy atmosphere. If you took a more serious approach (Not that I didn't chuckle at zombies wanting oranges)...I think this could be a great survival/horror type series. One thing that definitely needed fixing was the dialog boxes, and the font used in them. I noticed right away that the font didn't fit on the first page of the book, and for the art style, a much more eerie font would have done the trick. Anyways, add a little length and a bit more depth and I'm sure you could have something great here!
