Use your ninja skills and run as far as you can.

A game inspired by Canabalt and made in trendy pixel style.
Comes with achievements and has a nice learning curve.
I hope you'll like it.

Thanks,
Eugene

I like it, but it's not a 10

It's a lot like Canabalt, which you mentioned yourself, and there's nothing wrong with being inspired by a game, and I liked how you made the game a bit more in-depth and with more options than just run and jump.
I also really liked the idea that you could kill enemies if you were speeding up, and that you had lives, but they seemed a bit pointless (at least that you had 5), sincemost of the deaths probably are from falling anyways.
That being said, I have a few comments as well, and I hope you can use some positive critique :D
1: It seemed a bit shallow that there were just 3 speeds, you know, slow, normal and fast. Imo, there should be some transitions between them, so you can't just speed up or slow down instantly.
2: You can just hold down C to throw loads of shurikens, you might want to put a limit on those XD
3: The hook thing seemed a bit weird, if you held down X it would keep throwing new ones on the platforms, sure, I don't fall down, but the mechanism could be a bit better imo ^^
4: Not that important, but you could make the backgrounds a bit more exciting, just to distract the players :D

So yeah, 8/10
+5 for addictiveness
+3 for in-depthness
+2 for style
-2 for minor errors

Also, I like how you reply to most reviews, keep it up if you can! :D

I will do my best. :) I agree lives are a bit pointless now. And I also thought about limiting the shurikens, but decided to leave it as is as it gives more fun. Thanks for a great detailed review!

Nice game

Yeah, it's pretty good. Simple and fun. Something's wrong with the ninja sprite though, it's like you stretched it or something. Should probably fix that if you can.

Really good graphics, some bad mechanics

There were some really bad mechanics, such as if you fall of the edge, then you can jump while you're falling... gameplay is really repetitive even with achievements. It looks very similar to canabalt, too similar in my opinion. There could have been some originality. But it was good overall, quite a professional polish. 8 out of 10. Thanks for letting me play.

not to bad

it was okay half the time the jumps are all fucked up and trying to attack people is not very easy or possible without dying sometimes and maybe next time in the tut you should talk about those fuckin grapple things

Very close like Canabalt

The feel of it definately does feel like Canabalt. Like the long leaps and jumps over obstacles (in this game only bad ninjas) and the terrible fail once you fall off. And you also added some new stuff to the mix: a shooting mechanism to clear your path of obstacles, the double jump action, and the ability to slow down or speed up the game. However, just like Canabalt, it's always neverending and the jumps keep getting harder.

A fun game to play when bored of Canabalt.
4/5 & 8/10
