Aside from the... unfitting audio... i believe thou shalt be entertained for an entire 18 SECONDS!!!
The ittsy bittsy spider...
Now there is a rhyme I haven't heard in... more years than I'd like to admit.
Yes, you are absolutely right, the audio is unfitting. And worse than that it is outright annoying. That grating horn is just unpleasant to listen to. But other than that no major problems.
The visuals, though a little simplistic, did what they were supposed to do: tell the story. As long as they accomplish that there is nothing really to complain about. I have not seen any of your other work so there is no telling if this is 'average' or not.
So, you recreated the Ittsy Bittsy Spider in Flash. Good Job. As far as future work is concerned, I would suggest expanding yourself. You can make moving images and put them to sound (hopefully better sound in the future); you have all the tools you need to tell visual stories. So next time perhaps you should add a bit of yourself into the process. There was nothing unique or distinctive - save for the audio (sorry, I will stop harping on that) - and it would be nice, next time, to see what your own creativity instead of just a visual nursery rhyme.
Please, keep creating.
The Itsy Bitsy Spider...
To farts and bad saxophone notes.
Climbed up a gutter pipe and halfway there he gloats.
Then came a random water wash and flooded out the him.
And the spider waited for the sun before he tried again.
Meh. I just wrote all that to the normal tune of that stupid little nursery rhyme.
